Penny’s Success with Key2Weight

Penny, now aged 46, has spent most of her life as a comfortable size 8. However, over the last few years she has relaxed a little too much and allowed herself to gradually gain weight until she became what was, for her, an uncomfortable size 14. Penny admits to gorging on fatty foods, ready-made meals and sandwiches. “Being single and living alone made this an easy option,” says Penny, who is a busy teacher in a large secondary school.
Penny found the Key2weight flexible and simple, which really fitted in with her busy, demanding job. She found that being able just to add boiling water or use a microwave to heat up the products meant that she could follow the diet very easily. Because the meal replacement packs are fully nutritional, Penny found that she felt very healthy and energetic throughout the diet.
“In the morning, I had a banana or chocolate shake and was surprised to find they were quite yummy. For lunch, I’d eat spicy spaghetti or a cottage pie and, in the evening, I had a carb-free meal such as pork chops and veg or salad. After the first week, I was amazed to discover I had lost 7lb. That gave me the incentive to keep dieting and, after 7 weeks, I’d lost almost two stone.
The reason the diet worked is because I was allowed to eat meals so that I never really felt deprived. I missed chocolate, but the Key2weight bars were tasty so I’d snack on them. The only thing I found hard was not eating my fruit – I was craving it by the end of the diet.
In the maintenance phase of the programme, I gradually introduced small amounts of carbs and alcohol. I’d recommend the diet to anyone who wants to lose weight, but still eat small healthy meals.”
Penny is delighted with her weight loss and is almost back to the slim size 10 that was before. She feels great and has begun shopping for clothes again and looking after her appearance.
Enjoy the new you, Penny! Key2weight wish you continued happiness..

“I’ve lost 8 stone and changed my life”

I had got myself into a rut, I was staying in, feeling depressed whilst all my friends were going out having fun. I wouldn’t go out because I felt so unhappy with my weight. Earlier in the year I was at a family do and I caught sight of a photo of myself. That was the turning point in my life, when I thought enough is enough, I’m only 33 years old and life is passing me by. So I decided to start one of the Key2weight programmes as my sister had done so well on this diet.
Although I was determined, I didn’t have high expectations because I had failed miserably on other types of diets. However I started the ‘Total Balance’ programme and within a couple of days started to feel so much better, I had more energy and the scales were showing I had already lost 4lbs. This was a fantastic feeling and for the first time I felt I could succeed.
Eight and a half months later, I am now 8 stone lighter and my whole life has turned around, I feel like a normal young woman. I now love looking after myself, my whole appearance has changed, gone are the drab baggy T-shirts and jogging pants. I now have a great social life and I love my job, I finally feel this is my time and I’m not going to waste a single second!!

“I lost 26lb in 4 weeks”

The first few days I did feel quite hungry but by day 4 I started to feel great, I had loads of energy and felt fantastic! I even managed the odd run! When I got weighed at the end of week 1, I couldn’t believe I’d lost 11lb. That gave me so much encouragement.
After week 2 I lost another 6 lb and everyone at work began to notice, I felt quite proud of my achievement.
After 4 weeks I’d lost 26lb and had so much confidence and energy. I have never felt healthier!
“It’s really great to fit into fashionable clothes again, and feel good.”
I definitely would recommend the Key2weight diet plan, I’ve struggled with many different diets in the past losing the odd pound here and there, but this was fast and very effective and the Maintain Balance programme has helped me keep my new slimmer shape.
Jenny’s Story
“Such a great feeling!”

I decided to take the ‘bull by the horns’ earlier this year following a wedding I went to in January; I knew a lot of my relations would be there that I hadn’t seen for quite a while. I had already bought TWO dresses (in black, as I felt this was the most flattering colour). Anyway the important day arrived, and no matter what I was wearing I felt disappointed in myself, and that I’d let myself down as I just felt fat and frumpy. I tried extra hard with my make up and hair etc, but no matter what I did, I just felt ‘wrong’. The problem was MY WEIGHT! AGAIN! Yes I knew it was after Christmas (which I seemed to use as an excuse quite regularly), but I just knew I had to take action. I wanted ‘short cut’ quick results, so I decided to try a meal replacement diet.
Day 1 – Yes, it was difficult, but I was pleased with myself that I had made ‘the right decision’. When I got into bed that night I thought to myself ‘well that’s Day 1 done’. I did that, and said the same thing to myself most nights, and before I knew it, I was saying to myself Week 2 done, Week 3 done etc. I felt so much better by just Day 3 or 4, not just physically, but emotionally too. The results were great. I had learned that as the eating plan was a meal replacement, in a way it seemed easier as I didn’t seem to be tempted. My work place always has biscuits/sweets etc. on the desk, but somehow I didn’t feel tempted as I would when I had dieted in the past. I think it was because my body was getting everything it needed from the eating plan. Previous diets, I would ‘crave’ sugar or salt, and I know it was because my body was lacking or not getting what it needed. Plus with my weight reducing, it just spurred me on to continue. Nothing tastes as good as losing weight feels. Also, by week 3 or 4, people were beginning to notice, and that’s just such a great feeling!
I’m only a couple of pounds away from my goal weight, which means my wardrobe has opened up so much more options for me. I can wear clothes I haven’t been able to fit into for a long time. I have a large mirror in the hallway of my house, and I sometimes I can’t believe my reflection. I recently went to a concert, in my jeans, and treated myself to a ‘skinny T shirt’. I got changed into it in the ladies, and when I looked up at myself in the mirror, I said aloud to myself and my sister “who is that woman?!”. What a great feeling! My friends say I’ve changed, my husband says I’m a happier person to live with. He has never been bothered by my weight, whether I was overweight or not, but he does say that I am easier to live with now as I am more content and confident in myself. Because I’ve worked so hard to lose my weight, it does help me to ‘keep it off’ as I treat food, and look at food differently now. Yes I have occasional treats etc, but if I slip off the rails I do try to get back on track as soon as I can, as I love the way I feel and look now and don’t want to feel the way I did at the wedding in January!

“I Dropped 4 Dress Sizes!!”

I grew sick of shopping in the plus size section as I struggled to find trendy dresses and leggings to fit. I tried on one giant dress too many. I also knew that my weight was unhealthy, sending my blood pressure dangerously high and putting a strain on my joints. So I decided to take the plunge and start one of the Key2weight diet programmes.
I felt really good both on the inside and out as the pounds were falling off. Four weeks on, I jumped on the scales and found that I had lost an incredible stone and a half.
When I started, I was size 22 and weighed in at a whopping 17 stone. I now weigh 13 stone and wear size 14 clothes. I feel amazing and I love to shop for the latest off-the-peg fashions.
Janet’s Story
“What a wake up call!”

What a shock! It was the start of September 2009 when I went to the doctors with my daughter for her annual flu jab. I stepped on the scales and it revealed 14 stones – my heart sank! The nurse checked my blood pressure and it was through the roof; she said that I was at risk of a stroke or a heart attack. I knew I had put some weight on because my clothes were getting too tight but I had no idea it was so much.
A few days later I received a phone call from a Key2weight consultant saying I had been nominated by a mutual friend to trial the Key2weight diet plan. I jumped at the chance. I met with the consultant and we talked about the diet and I agreed to test the product and have my progress monitored every week. I received my allowance of various flavoured soups, shakes and bars and started the next day on the Total Balance programme. I found it very easy to follow as there were no complicated calories to count. The drinks were really tasty and thick, not like other liquid diets I’ve tried before. I soon got into a regular eating pattern of 8am – 12 noon – 4pm – 8pm, including a pint of water with each meal replacement. I would also take a bottle of water every time I was out and about, plus a food bar just in case I was out and became hungry.
I found the first few days quite hard but I knew that my body was craving carbohydrates and that it wouldn’t last long. I also experienced a few headaches. All I did was take pain relief and drank more water, plus a couple of black coffees, and this passed after a few days. I was amazed I didn’t feel hungry, providing I stuck to my 4 hourly eating plan and the recommended drink allowance. I also found I had lots more energy!
After the first week I got weighed and I had lost 9lbs. I felt great, and lost another 5lbs during the second week. I completed my final weigh in on 11th November (after two months) and, to my surprise, I lost my last 3 lbs to meet my target of 2 stone and I was absolutely delighted. I had dropped 2 dress sizes, my wardrobe has doubled and I can now get into my size 14s again. My friends and family say I look fantastic and are asking me when this product is on the market – they would like to try it…What a great feeling; I feel great, look fabulous and I feel healthy, with loads of energy. My blood pressure is now at normal level…what a relief!
I would like to lose another stone, then I will do the Maintain Balance programme, which will take one more month to complete. During that time I will re-introduce different foods gradually over the month to allow my metabolism to re- adjust and help me to change my behaviour around food – choices and portion sizes.
This is the diet for me. I know it works providing I don’t cheat and I am determined to succeed. I will make it happen and you can do it too; if I can so can you.
